Did the Germans invent Crystal Meth in WW2?

    No, Methamphetamine was invented in the late 19th century.  They did use it in the beginning of WWII under the brand name Pervatin, but discontinued its use because of the adverse effects.

    You, as so many others today , are confused. ... Hitler and the German Army were given amphetamines (uppers) to increase their stamina, not  methamphetamines, (or crystal meth), a drug which would have the opposite effect.
