Is it okay to eat a little bit of unhealthy foods while on a diet?

    Okay in what way?  At some point you have to ask yourself whether any particular food is helping you or hurting you. If enjoying a small (or even large) treat is really important to you, go ahead.  Just acknowledge the calories and carbs (these treats always have carbs) and adjust your daily intake of other foods to accommodate the splurge.  

    There are thousands of extremely fit, healthy people who occasionally enjoy a dessert or treat or a traditional holiday meal.  They plan for those so they don't derail their overall health.There are also people who simply get to the point where the see a donut or fries for what they are:  empty calories that can spike insulin.  As a result, these foods lose their appeal and people simply don't ever indulge in them.

    Absolutely. If you deny yourself for too long you eventually will binge on something and ruin all the success you have so far.
