What the 'truthful' difference between belief and proof?

Often one person's belief is another person's proof, and another person's proof is another persons belief. Humans seem VERY confused.

Atheists are experts with their belief of no God.

Rational belief is dependent on evidence, or proof. One can believe something without any evidence, but such a belief is irrational.

Proof is for science, which can't say anything about whether God exists or not.  Use the right tool for the job.  Proof for science, experience for religion.  Both are valid forms of evidence.

Every year millions experience God for themselves.  You should, too.  It's the logical thing to do.

I lean toward the view that if we have a sound proof something is true, we don't need to believe it. And of course, if we have proof it's false, it would be foolish to believe it.

Beliefs are working assumptions. They are very useful, but only when proof isn't available. And they are far more useful when we keep track of what we can prove and what we simply choose to believe.

“Sir, surely only things that exist are worth believing in?” said the enquirer [...]

“If they exist, you don’t have to believe in them,” said Didactylos. “They just are.”

A Belief is an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. For example, "I believe this plane and flight crew and fly safely."

A Proof is evidence or argument establishing or helping to establish a fact or the truth of a statement. For example, "I saw this man shoot the deceased."

What is not "confusing" is John 14:6.

I'm pretty sure most adults have walked through a door for the first time of which they had no proof of what was on the other side of that door until they walked through it. Believing by faith is action. Believe it then act on in, that's called walking by faith. Believe, act according to that belief, then you will see.

Sorry, but you are wrong again clyde. Proof is what leads to belief. Without proof of something you have no reason to believe. Well, except for religious people. They believe all kinds of crazy stuff for no good reason. Thats why they have to have faith. You know, believing in things for no good reason. Because if they had good reasons, they wouldnt need faith. I think you are the one who is confused.

Proof only exists in mathematics and logic. However, what you're describing is a very subjective way of looking at things and you are completely ignoring objective methods.  So, you may believe that the water in a glass in cold (subjective), but we can measure the heat content of the water to tell what temperature it is (objective).  Belief is subjective because what you call cold, another can call cool and a third might believe it is warm.  In the objective method, no matter who takes the temperature, it is consistent, or we can tell why it has changed.

The Bible is the truth.  Here is the truth: The Lord Jesus Christ is God. Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, or not. The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell.

    .

Believing in the Lord Jesus Christ means being forgiven all sins past and future and means going to heaven. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that the Lord Jesus Christ is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus was buried, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing on Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

Beliefs are based on faith and can be anything you want them to be.  It is impossible to disprove a belief.  Beliefs are unfalsifiable and are very much dependent on the individual.

Proof requires some kind of physical evidence.  The evidence is used to either support or disprove the claim.  It is NOT based on personal convictions but rather factors external to the person.
