Are there many mistakes in this text of almost 60 words?

As foreseen, I've met two members of the community. They offered me a better place, in exchange of more water and bread.

I'm heading back home to get all what I have, in terms of food, and hand it over to them.

By doing so, I will get their trust and they will allow me to enter their ranks.

The comma in this sentence should be removed. Also,

"in exchange of" is not normally used.  "in exchange for" sounds  better

They offered me a better place, in exchange of more water and bread.

    should be

They offered me a better place in exchange for more water and bread.

There is no reason for a comma here.

"in exchange for more water and food."  has no reason to

be set off from the rest of sentence.  It restricts the meaning of the

rest of the sentence so it does not need to set off from the rest of the

    sentence.

This sentence may be grammatically  correct, but is wordy.

Some people may question whether the comma is necessary, but

I think it is okay to have the comma there.

I'm heading back home to get all what I have, in terms of food, and hand it over to them.

    This would be better.

I'm heading back home to get all the food I have,  and hand it over to them.
