If Anima Libera is good translation for 'Free Spirit' (soul) would the same be true of Cordis Feram for 'Wild Heart'? (Ref. tattoo)?

No. Please don't get tattoos in languages you don't understand. What's wrong with "Wild Heart"? It doesn't sound any better or more profound in a language you don't understand.
Besides, "cordis feram" doesn't mean "wild heart". It means "a wild [something feminine] of the heart"."Feram" is the accusative singular feminine form of the adjective 'wild' but we don't know what the verb is that has produced the accusative form. And "cordis" means "of the/a heart".
If you just want to say "Wild Heart", write "Cor ferum". But I urge you to stick with English.
