arc distance s = rΘ = 1m * (57.3π/180) rads = 1 m

The circumference of a 1 m radius circle is 2 pi r= 6.28m in 360 degrees. so a sector of 57.3 degrees has a sector of  6.28*57.3/360=1.000m.

There are several ways to think about it.  The FRACTION of a circle is 57.3 / 360.  The total length around the circle is 2pi() r = 2pi()*1

so the arc length is 2*pi()* 57.3/360  ~= 1.00 m

For such problems we invented radians where an entire circle is 2pi() radians.  so that 1 radian is 1/ 2pi() of the whole circle which means that an arc length of 1 radian in a circle of radius r is 1/2pi() * 2 pi() r = r
