Giving Knee,shouldn't that be reserved for your sweetheart?

    I think it is called taking the knee, not giving knee. That reminds me of something else. 

    To go down on one knee is a sign of subservience, to be used when being knighted by the Queen if you are important and British, or for asking for the hand of your sweetheart in marriage. 

    Really it should not have been adopted for BLM in general, although it was a suitable gesture when american football players used it while the national anthem was played.
