Is liver cancer an AIDS related disease?
- PippinLv 7hace 4 semanas
No. Cancers directly associated with HIV/AIDS are Kaposi Sarcoma, certain types of lymphoma, and cervical cancer.
But many people with HIV are also positive for Hepatitis -- and that can increase the risk of liver cancer.

No, AIDS patients get what are called opportunistic infections like staph, shingles. pneumonia, karposi cancer, MAC, thrush, etc etc....certain ills can predictably come in as the T CELLS drop below 200

No. Liver cancer is a cancer and AIDS is an autoimmune disease.

Not necessarily. But if you know you have AIDS, it can be. But you can get liver cancer without having AIDS, and not have liver cancer, with AIDS. Ask your doctor if you're concerned. https://www.cedars-sinai.org/health-library/diseas...

Cancer is cancer, it's not something you can catch from someone else.
