6 months since the start of the pandemic. Do you think if the whole country had locked down at the beginning it could have been prevented?

If you look back at how previous administrations took charge, especially during the potentially deadly Ebola crisis, the lack of competence from the Trump administration at the federal level has prompted a prominent D.C. attorney to say publicly that Donal Trump is "guilty of criminally negligent genocide."  The simple answer to your question, if one includes a call to wear face covers, is a qualified "Yes."  The virulent and very deadly COVID-19 virus could have been contained early, and many lives would have been saved.

NO... Thats not possible nor would it have stopped anything.

The dems were pushing so hard for impeachment 6 months ago that IF TRUMP had not closed borders when he id it would have been much worse, You are  Anonymous so we know already you are a far leftist who automatically hates trump and the republicans and Would love to the the downfall of the USA. That's why you like MOST Anonymous posters HIDE and do nothing but complain about Trump or one thing or another and CALL EVERYONE A RACIST who does not think the way you to.

NO.  Do you even remember what was going on 6-months ago?  Pelosi and the Democrats were focusing on Impeaching President Trump.  The Democrats ALREADY knew, about the coronavirus, but hid it with the Impeachment Hearings.

ALL of this could have been prevented had China STOPPED in their lab.

Had we "locked down" those at highest risk and made everyone else practice basic distancing models we could have curtailed some of the spread without destroying the economy. When the final story is told on this we'll find that most of the deaths were in assisted living centers and had those been managed differently much loss of life could have been prevented.

NO, BECAUSE IT WAS SPREADING BEFORE WE WERE AWARE OF IT

No there would still have been a pandemic, but it would not have kill anywhere ans many people.

There would still be a pandemic.  Locking down only the U.S. would not have prevented that.  But it would be much less severe in the U.S.  Probably no worse, and perhaps better, than it is in Europe.

no matter when a "lockdown" had started, a large percentage would have ignored it
