Would you be more likely to fill in a survey if you got $5 for it?

Personally I'd do it for 50$

Personally, it would make little difference to me.  However, historically, when the surveyor pays in advance, the return rate does tend to go up.  At work, we had a consultant do a survey of everyone.  The survey was left in a plastic ziploc on each person's chair, and there was $2 enclosed.  I would have filled it out, anyway, but it was nice to have a couple bucks.

Note that this is NOT the same as getting the money AFTER filling out the survey.  If you tell someone they will get $5 later, they might not bother, because they have to wait to get paid.  And they might not be certain that you will pay.

That, to me would seems like a scam, and I would ignore it. People are leary now about answering questions on line.
