MR ANFIELD ACES
as you know, im a diehard avid lfc fan and I couldn't possibly imagine life without lfc - football without lfc, would be - empty. to me, if a club like lfc didn't exist I don't think I'd follow the so called 'beautiful game'. in fact, without LFC it would just be known as ' the game' ! ^_^ we make it beautiful baby ;-) lol Lastly - some quotes, that i'd just like to share with the masses on here ^_^ " appreciate those who love you help those who need you forgive those who hurt you forget those who leave you " “Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” ― Albert Camus “The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for.” ― Bob Marley “The first duty of a man is to think for himself” ― José Martí
Arsenal come to Anfield for their annual battering ^_^
Its an annual festival. A special day in the English football calender when every gooner watches the carnage happen, their team being mauled helplessly by Liverpool.
Normal full time scoreline for this fixture tends to be a 5-1 thumping, and I expect nothing less than that today.
Prediction: Liverpool 5 - 1 Arsenal ( Mane 2, Firmino 1, Thiago, VDD)
And Aubamayang to get a consolation goal for them to take back to North London.

Vardy was clinical as always. Leicester City are making a few people notice them again. Any team that plays the way they did against city at the etihad should be taken seriously ?
World Class Striker in Vardy, anything is possible. Maddison is there too. And from what I've seen of them, they look quite good.
I predict a top 4 finish for them this season given last seasons heart ache of missing out.
They couldn't, you know, do it again ? a repeat of 2015-16 ?
wow if they end up challenging us for the title though...1 respuestaEnglish Footballhace 7 horas

I think its time for Manchester United to just get that cheque book out and sign a world class CB, CDM, a FW and a LB ?
Just give Ole access to £350m at least.
There is quality there in Pogba, Fernandes, Rashford, Bissaka, Maguire and De Gea (he just needs a decent back four infront of him thats all)
Thats 6. Thats your core right there.
You can now eye world class players to fill in the left back, center back, central midfield and forward positions.
Man United need to make a statement that they mean business to the rest of their rivals in EPL and seriously spend BIG, they need 5 players.
who here agrees with me ?
I'd push that budget to £400m straight away if required.
What is £400m in this day and age in the football world ? Especially if you're Manchester United, one of the biggest names in world football ?
If Ole wants to bring big trophies back to Old Trafford....no other way about it, get that cheque book out.

how are United going to close the gap on their rivals when they're not strengthening properly and getting their target transfers ?
its unfair United fans who want to see some excitement in their season - surely surely the right thing to do, the Man United thing to do is, make a statement - SIGN JADON SANCHO ?4 respuestasEnglish Footballhace 2 días
Remember when we went to Istanbul and beat a team that had Maldini, Nesta, Pirlo, Seedorf, Cafu, Stam, Gattuso and Kaka in it ?
And they had Crespo and Schevchenko and the worlds greatest goalkeeper of that time, Brazils Dida.
People overlook why that final was called 'the miracle' of Istanbul.
Just look at that team they had - look at it ! ^_^
And WHO ever thought we'd over turn a 3-0 defeat at Camp Nou, and whup Barce 4-0 in the return leg at Anfield ? what a night THAT was lol
as it stands, it is with insane stupendous MASSIVE PRIDE, that I, Mr Aces can say, # 6 TIMES CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!#

Pele won the World Cup aged 16 years of age, therefore both Messi and Ronaldo cannot be mentioned in the same breath as him ?
According to the IFFHS, Pelé is the most successful top division scorer of all times with 541 goals in 560 appearances. His total of 1279 goals in 1363 games, which included friendlies, is a Guinness World Record.
I mean, do you REALLY want to feck with that kind of record ? 3 World Cups ( 1958, 1962 and 1970) ?
Therefore show some respect, the GOAT title belongs to Pele and Maradona.
but we can still talk about Messi and Ronaldo and create a separate topic on that, I believe Messi will always be the better of the two players - Messi has been easily the best player in the world for over a decade now, but hes in his twilight years and I think the player who walks away with that title is Sadio Mane ( going by consistency alone ).

reaction to a goal scored - and his words:
"I've seen most things in this league in the last 25 years. I haven't seen anything like him. I said he was special at the beginning of the game. He's more than that. Hes irreplaceable."
who said this, and who was he talking about ? ^_^
ok ONE clue - nothing to do with LFC, but its Premier League not any other league so theres your info.
all four loser clubs TRIED their HARDEST to sign/talk/lure Steven Gerrard away from Liverpool.
Problem was, they couldn't take the LIVERPOOL out of him ^_^
so basically Steven Gerrard turned them ALL down - that is what they have in common and HA HA @ Man scum united trying to sign him from us. PATHETIC, can't produce a player as good as that ever in their history so tried to take him from us ^_^

Look we nearly came close last season and then Lovren helped us to make sure Arsenals record stayed untouched ^_^
We really should have tried to go for it , the invincibles record last year but oh well.
Question is, can CITY or LIVERPOOL try again this year and attempt to go 38 league games without losing a single match ?2 respuestasEnglish Footballhace 3 días

I can see both ole gunnar solskjaer and frank lampard winning a premier league title at some point with their respective clubs ?
providing the clubs boards/directors/owners give them 100% backing.
It remains to be seen which club is more patient with their guy, United or Chelsea.
I do not think Ole is sackable, given who he is and what hes achieved as a player at the club. He has legendary status there, the same is true of Frank Lampard at Chelsea.
However with enough time for both to build their teams I can picture both managers becoming premier league winners at managerial level.
question, which is more likely to happen - Ole winning the title as manager of Manchester United or Frank Lampard winning the premier league title as manager of Chelsea ?1 respuestaPersonal Financehace 5 días
Will Man City need to be at their very best this season in order to seriously test how good this Liverpool team really is ?
If they take us all the way to the final game of the season like they did two seasons back in the 2018-19 season ( 98 points to our 97 ), and we finish above this time - then it will speak volumes about this Liverpool team and more importantly it will make this band of players believe they can go on and keep on winning a few more titles yet to come.
Its incredible how a club who broke the bank to build a team of world beaters by breaking the bank to bring in established stars, can only in turn push the Champions to get even better!
If they harder than ever - it will FORCE us to up our own game which, might I add, is already quite good ! ^_^
We're winning the league again, deal with it lol
