I am looking to use my phone as a wireless touchpad for my laptop. There are several apps available, so I would like opinions as to which to get. The app must meet the following requirements.
1. It must run on a phone using the Android operating system.
2. It must work with a laptop running Windows 10. (installing companion software on the laptop is acceptable.)
3. I need to be able to operate the app using only the thumb of the hand holding the phone. Use of both hands is not an option.13 respuestasMythology & Folklorehace 4 años
I have a 1994 Ford Taurus with a very intermittent electrical problem. Yesterday, and once about 2 months ago, the brake warning light stayed on after starting the car. Both times, the dashboard clock, radio, turn signals and power windows did not work. The dome light and headlights both worked, and the car seemed to drive normally. After turning the car off and back on, everything started working again. I suspect a loose connection somewhere but I have no idea where to look.15 respuestasLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgenderhace 7 años
Does your state actually count absentee ballots even if they CAN'T change the outcome of the election?
OK. We all 'know' the answer to the above is yes. My actual question is: Where in your states election law does it say they have to do so?
Note: I specifically asked for an official source. Anyone that does not provide a source will NOT be chosen as Best Answer. Anyone claiming no source is needed will be reported as not answering the question.8 respuestasLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgenderhace 1 década
I recently noticed a number of questions that show 3 or more answers having 100% of the vote. Some show all answers having 0% of the vote, when I have just voted for one. A few minutes ago, on showed an answer with 50% and 4 with 25% (150%) total. This is mathematically impossible.5 respuestasLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgenderhace 1 década
An American Creed
I Do Not Choose to Be a Common Man
It is my right to be uncommon—if I can.
I seek opportunity—not security. I do not wish to be a kept
citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after
I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to
fail and to succeed.
I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the
challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of
fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia.
I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for
a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend
to any threat.
It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to
think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations
and to face the world boldly and say, “This I have done.”

I know there are times when they respond to calls and don't want a suspect to know they are coming.
I recently saw an officer make a left hand turn from the right hand lane cutting off traffic without using lights or sirens. They were responding to a collision about a mile up the road. I know this because I was headed that direction and saw them parked in the road behind the vehicle involved with lights flashing. I was wondering why they would not turn on the lights before cutting off traffic in the intersection.15 respuestasLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgenderhace 1 década
